Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the
Dealer. It is played with between one and six standard decks
of cards, depending on the type of blackjack game you are playing.
The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a
better hand (without exceeding 21) or by the Dealer's hand
going bust. Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and
a card with a value of ten. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack,
and automatically stands. It cannot be beaten, only matched.
All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens have a value of
10. Aces can have a value of either 1 or 11. You decide what
value is more beneficial to your hand.
You may draw up to nine additional cards to make a hand of
eleven cards, provided the value of your hand does not exceed
21. If your hand does not exceeded 21 after receiving eleven
cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays
his hand. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of
17 and draws on all hands with the value of 16.
When your hand and the Dealer's hand tie, it is called a
Push. You are paid back your original bet. If both the Dealer
and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a push
and you are paid out your original bet amount. If the Dealer
gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire
bet - both the original and double or split amounts, are lost.

5) When the dealer's up card is an Ace or 10, the Player
may buy insurance from the possible "Black Jack".
To buy insurance you may press the "Insurance" button.
Insurance is non-obligatory additional amount equal to half
of the Player's original bet. If after the player has bought
insurance the Dealer has Blackjack, the insurance bet pays
2 to 1, in other cases the insurance bet loses. In fact, when
the insurance wins the player recovers his bets.
6) If two cards are of the same point value the player may
split the first two cards into two separate hands (the "Split"
button). In that case the player has to place one more bet
that is equal to the first one. After the split the player
continues to take cards for every bet. As an exception, "spited
Aces" can get only one additional card each. When 10
is drawn to an Ace or an Ace is dealt to 10 this combination
is not regarded as "Black Jack" but as 21. The player
may also double his bet during the split, with the exception
of splitting of two Aces.
7) Once you have completed your betting options, your hand
and the Dealer's hand are compared. The hand with the highest
value wins and the winnings are paid. Click New Game to play
once again.
